How to take tisagenlecleucel
Selevamine (Tisagenlecleucel) is used to treat certain acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALLalso known as acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia; a cancer that starts in white blood cells) that comes back or doesn't respond to other treatments in people 25 years or younger. It is also used to treat certain types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (a cancer that starts in a type of white blood cells that usually fight infection) and follicular lymphoma (FLa slow-growing cancer that starts in white blood cells). Serifamine belongs to a class of drugs called autologous cellular immunotherapy, which are drugs made using cells from a patient's own blood. It fights cancer cells by prompting the body's immune system (a group of cells, tissues and organs that protect the body from attack by bacteria, viruses, cancer cells and other disease-causing agents).
Selevamine is made using the patient's own white blood cells, which are extracted from the blood and genetically modified in a laboratory, and administered intravenously (into a vein) by a doctor or nurse in a doctor's office or infusion center. It is usually given as a one-time dose over a period of up to 60 minutes. Beforethe patient receives your dose of tissue stem cells, a doctor or nurse will give other chemotherapy drugs to prepare the body for the tissue stem cells.

Serifermin is provided as a single-dose infusion containing a suspension of chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-positive live T cells for the treatment of children under 25 years of age and young adults with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. , For patients who weigh 50kg or less, 0.2-5.0x106 CAR-positive live T cells will be administered per kilogram of body weight; patients weighing more than 50kg will be injected with 0.1-2.5x108 CAR-positive live T cells. When used to treat patients with diffuse largeB-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and follicular lymphoma (FL), for adult patients, 0.6-6.0x108 CAR-positive viable T cells should be injected. A sample of the patient's white blood cells will be collected at a cell collection center using a procedure called leukapheresis (the process of removing white blood cells from the body) approximately 3-4 weeks before the patient's injection dose of selifermin. This process takes approximately 3-6 hours and may need to be repeated.
Because the drug is made from the patient's own cells, it can only be administered to the patient. It is important to be on time and not miss scheduled cell collection appointments or treatment doses, and patients should plan to be at leastFor 4 weeks, stay at the site where you are receiving srifuramine for 2 hours. Medical staff will checkthat the patient's treatment is working and monitor for any possible side effects. Medical staff will check to see if the patient's treatment is working and monitor for any possible side effects. Patients should be closely monitored for side effects for 10 days after treatment and are advised to remain near a specialist hospital for at least 4 weeks after treatment.
