Talazoparib (Talazoparib), trade nameTalzenna, is an oral polyADP ribose polymerase inhibitor developed by Pfizer for the treatment of advanced breast cancer with germline BRCA mutations. It was approved in the United States in October 2018 and in the EU in June 2019 for germline BRCA-mutated, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, and in June 2023 with enzarotamide for homologous recombination repair gene-mutated metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

The most serious side effects in talazopanib's studies were related to the blood-forming system and included anemia (low red blood cell count), neutropenia (low neutrophil count) and thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). Severe forms of these conditions (grades 3-4) occurred in 39%, 21% and 15% of patients respectively. Other side effects such as headache, nausea, hair loss and fatigue are mostly mild.

The original drug of talazopanib has not yet been marketed in China, so it has not been included in medical insurance.
