What diseases does Upadacitinib treat?
Upadacitinib (Upadacitinib) is a class of drugs called Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, which work by reducing the activity of the immune system. 4. Treat ulcerative colitis (a disease that causes swelling and ulcers in the lining of the colon [large intestine] and rectum) in adults who cannot take or respond to one or moreTNF inhibitor drugs;
5. Treat Crohn's disease (a disease in which the body attacks the lining of the digestive tract, causing pain, diarrhea, weight loss and fever) in adults who cannot take or do not respond to one or moreTNF inhibitor drugs;
6. Treat ankylosing spondylitis (a disease in which the body attacks joints in the spine and elsewhere, causing pain, swelling and joint damage) in adults who cannot take or do not respond to one or more TNF inhibitor drugs.
7. Treats active non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (a disease in which the body attacks the joints and other parts of the spine, causing signs of pain and swelling), but without visible changes on X-rays in adults who cannot take or do not respond to one or more TNF inhibitor drugs.
