How much does a box of Avelumab cost?

Avelumab (Avelumab) is an anti-tumor drug. It helps alter the immune system to help control the growth of cancer cells. This medicine should only be used by a doctor or under his direct supervision. Avelumab is an immunotherapy and antineoplastic drug that belongs to the immune checkpoint blockade cancer therapy group. It induces antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) in vitro, however, it is unclear whether ADCC contributes to the therapeutic effects of avelumab. It is also used as first-line maintenance treatment for urothelial cancer that has spread in patients who have responded well to platinum-containing cancer drugs. Avelumab is also used in combination with other drugs, such as axitinib, as a first-line treatment for advanced renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer.

Avelumab is an emerging cancer treatment drug. The original drug has not yet been marketed in China, so it cannot be included in medical insurance. The price of Avelumab's generic drug, 200mg/10mL per box, may be more than RMB 10,000 per box (the price may fluctuate due to the exchange rate).
