How long does it take to take Adagrasib to be effective?
Adagrasib (Adagrasib) is a drug used to treat certain types of cancer. It is called a KRAS G12C inhibitor. Each person may react differently to medications, so the effects of using this medication may vary from individual to individual. Based on current clinical studies, adagrasib typically begins to show some effects within a few weeks of starting treatment. However, it may take longer to achieve optimal treatment results.
Adograceib's exposure-response relationship and pharmacodynamic response time course have not been elucidated. Use of adagrasib may result in prolongation of the QTc interval. The AUC and Cmax of adagrasiib increased in a dose-proportional manner between 400 mg and 600 mg (0.67 to 1 times the approved recommended dose). At the recommended dose, adagrasib reaches steady state within 8 days and accumulates up to 6-fold. The Tmax of adagrasib is approximately 6 hours. Taking a high-fat and high-calorie meal (900-1000 calories, 50% from fat) has no clinically significant effect on the pharmacokinetics of adagrasib. Adagrasib has high oral bioavailability and is able to penetrate the central nervous system.
Sinceadagrasibthe original drug has not yet been launched in China, patients can only purchase adagrasib through overseas channels, and the U.S. original version of 200mg*180 tablets is priced at hundreds of thousands of yuan per box (the price may fluctuate due to exchange rates), which is very expensive. Currently, there are no generic drugs of adagrasib produced overseas. For more drug information and specific prices, please consult Yaode’s medical consultant.
