What are the indications for dabrafenib?

Dabrafenib (Dabrafenib) is an effective targeted therapy drug for specific types of cancer. Its indications mainly include the following:

1.Malignant Melanoma (Melanoma): Dabrafenib is approved for the treatment of advanced or metastatic malignant melanoma harboring the BRAF V600 mutation. BRAF V600 Mutation is one of the most common types of mutations in malignant melanoma. Dabrafenib blocks the growth and spread of cancer cells by inhibiting BRAFkinase activity.

3.Benign Meningiomas (Benign Brain Tumors): In the United States, dabrafenib is also approved for the treatment of benign meningiomas associated with the BRAF V600E mutation. These benign meningiomas are often called chondrosarcomas.
