Tucatinib/As an innovative targeted anti-cancer drug, Tucatinib plays an important role in the treatment of advanced breast cancer and colorectal cancer. It belongs to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor class of drugs, specifically targeting the HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2) tyrosine kinase. The HER2 receptor plays a key role in the growth and repair of normal breast cells. However, when the HER2 gene is defective, causing the HER2 protein to be overexpressed, breast cells will grow and divide uncontrollably, which may lead to cancer.
