Venetoclax, English nameVenetoclax, also known as Venetoclax, trade name is Venetoclax, R&D code ABT-199. It is an oral B-cell lymphoma factor-2 (BCL-2) inhibitor that can selectively inhibit the function of BCL-2. By inhibiting BCL-2, venetoclax can restore the sensitivity of tumor cells to apoptotic signals, thereby inducing tumor cell apoptosis.

In the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), venetoclax has been approved for multiple indications in the United States and other regions. It can be used as monotherapy in patients with CLL who have a 17p deletion mutation and have received at least one prior therapy.
