Rucaparib had a manageable safety profile; the most common adverse events in both indications were fatigue and nausea. Accumulation of plasma exposure occurred following repeated administration of the approved 600 mg twice daily dose. Steady state was achieved after one week of continuous twice daily dosing. Rucaparib has moderate oral bioavailability and can be administered with or without food. Although the high-fat meal weakly increased maximum concentration and area under the curve, this effect was not clinically significant.

In overseas markets, the original drug and generic drugs of rucapanib are already available. They are mainly presented in two specifications: 300mg 60 tablets and 200mg 60 tablets. The price tag of each box of the original version of Rucapani produced in Europe may exceed RMB 20,000, and this price will also change with exchange rate fluctuations. In comparison, the price of the generic version produced by BDR Pharmaceuticals in India is much more friendly, with the price per box being about 5,000-6,000 yuan.
