How many tablets of Eltrombopag/Eltrombopag should be taken at a time?

Eltrombopag/Eltrombopag is available as tablets and powder, and can be made into a suspension (liquid) for oral administration. Tablets contain the equivalent of 12.5 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg or 75 mg, and oral suspensions are available in 12.5 mg or 25 mg. (2) Pediatric patients:Children aged 1-5 years old, the initial dose is 25mg/time/day. For children 6-17 years of age, the dosage is the same as for adults.

2. Aplastic anemia: In adults with severe disease, unresponsive to immunosuppressive therapy, and unfit for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the initial dose is 50 mg once daily, titrated in 50 mg increments. Every 2 weeks to achieve and maintain platelet count ≥50x10^9 cells/L. The maximum dose is 150mg/day.

3. Thrombocytopenia associated with chronic hepatitis C: The initial dose for adults is 25 mg once daily, increasing by 25 mg every 2 weeks until a sufficient response is achieved to initiate antiviral treatment. The maximum dose is 100mg/day.
