How to use gosatuzumab

Sacituzumab govitecan (Sacituzumab govitecan) is a drug specially used to treat specific types of breast cancer and urothelial cancer. Its use and dosage need to follow the recommendations and guidance of your doctor. Here are detailed instructions on how to use gosatuzumab:

1. Administration method: Gosatuzumab is only used by intravenous infusion. This means that the drug will enter the body through the patient's intravenous system rather than by mouth or other routes.

2. Dose and frequency: The recommended dose of gosatuzumab is10 mg/kg. This means that based on the patient's weight, the doctor will calculate the appropriate dose of the drug. Patients should receive an intravenous infusion on days 1 and 8 of a 21-day treatment cycle. This treatment regimen will be continued until disease progression or the patient develops unacceptable toxicity.

3. Note: Under no circumstances should patients be given gosatuzumab at a dose greater than10 mg/kg. This is because too high a dose may cause adverse reactions or side effects.

4. Infusion time and observation: For patients who are taking gosatuzumab for the first time, the infusion time should be more than 3 hours to ensure that the patient's body gradually adapts to the drug. Patients should be closely observed for infusion-related reactions or symptoms during the infusion and for at least 30 minutes after the initial dose. If the previous infusion is tolerated by the patient, subsequent infusions can be completed within 1-2 hours.

5. Continuous monitoring: The patient's condition should be continuously observed during the entire infusion process and for at least 30 minutes after the infusion. This helps to detect any possible adverse reactions or side effects promptly and take necessary measures.
