How to use selinexol, dosage, and how to take it
Selinisol is approved for the treatment of refractory or relapsed multiple myeloma, and can be used alone or in combination with other drugs to control the progression of the disease. Additionally, it has shown therapeutic potential in clinical trials against other types of cancer, including lymphoma and lung cancer.
The specific usage and dosage of selinesol need to be individually formulated by a professional doctor based on the patient's condition, physical condition, and other drugs being used. Generally speaking, selinesol is an oral drug, and the medication cycle and dosage will be adjusted according to different treatment plans.
When selinesol is given with bortezomib and dexamethasone (SVd), patients need 100 mg orally every Monday. If used together with dexamethasone, take 80mg on Mondays and Wednesdays every week until the disease progresses or intolerable toxicity occurs. For adult patients with lymphoma, the recommended dose is 60 mg per Monday and Wednesday, which should be reduced to 20 mg per week when used with dexamethasone.
During the use of selinesol, patients may experience a variety of side effects, such as blood system side effects (including hemoglobin reduction, thrombocytopenia, etc.), digestive system side effects (such as nausea, vomiting, etc.), respiratory system side effects, and systemic side effects. Some patients may also experience allergic reactions. Therefore, it is necessary to closely monitor the patient's response during use and adjust the treatment plan in a timely manner.
Patients with a history of thrombocytopenia or hyponatremia should use selinesol with special caution. It is strictly prohibited to use if you are allergic to selinexol. At the same time, in order to avoid adverse drug interactions, it is not advisable to take other drugs that may interact while taking Selinisol.
