Which version of Sotoracib (AMG510) works best

Sotorasib (AMG510, Sotorasib) is the world’s first targeted drug targeting the KRAS G12C mutation. The effect evaluation of its different versions involves many aspects, including drug purity, production technology, clinical trial data, etc. However, because different versions may be produced by different pharmaceutical companies, and clinical trial data may vary by region, patient population, and other factors, it is difficult to directly conclude which version works best.

The original version of sotorasibu produced by Amgen in the United States has shown therapeutic effects in clinical trials. In a major study involving 124 patients, sotorasiib was effective in adults with NSCLC with KRAS G12C gene alterations whose disease had progressed after prior treatment with other cancer drugs. Response to treatment (reduction in cancer size) is assessed through body scans. Approximately 37% (46 of 124 patients) of patients showed partial or complete shrinkage of their cancer after treatment with sotoraxib. On average, responses took more than 11 months.

However, it is worth noting that with the rise of the generic drug market, there are multiple generic versions of Sotorasibu, such as those produced by Bangladesh Everest Pharmaceuticals, Bangladesh Ziska Pharmaceuticals, Laos Element Pharmaceuticals, etc. These generic versions may be more cost-effective, but their efficacy and safety still need to be verified through rigorous clinical trials.

When evaluating the effects of different versions of sotorasiib, in addition to considering clinical trial data, attention should also be paid to the purity, production process, quality control and other aspects of the drug. High-purity drugs usually have better bioavailability and more stable efficacy; while strict production processes and quality control can ensure the consistency and safety of drugs.
