What are the effects and side effects of Platinib?

Platinib, an oral kinase inhibitor, has shown remarkable efficacy in treating certain types of cancer in recent years. Platinib mainly targets cancers related to RET gene mutations. The RETgene plays a key role in certain neuroendocrine tumors, such as thyroid cancer, and a rare type of lung cancer called RETgene mutation-associated non-small cell lung cancer. Platinib, as a RET inhibitor, inhibits the growth and spread of cancer cells by interfering with the abnormal signaling of RET receptors. Specifically, it inhibits the activity of RET kinase, a key protein involved in cell growth and differentiation.
