The onset of effect of eltrombopag is usually 1 to 2 weeks. This means that it will take about 1 to 2 weeks after taking eltrombopag to see a significant increase in platelet count. The maintenance time of Eltrombopag is long-term, that is, it can keep the platelet count at a safe level for a long time after oral administration.
