Venetoclax/Venetoclax is a brand-name oral tablet used for certain cancers. It contains the active ingredient venetoclax. It was approved for marketing by the National Medical Products Administration in December 2020, becoming the first approved BCL-2 inhibitor in China. Currently, all Venectlax sold in the domestic market are imported drugs and are produced by AbbVie Ireland NL B.V. in Ireland. The drug is primarily used to treat certain types of adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly those newly diagnosed who are 75 years of age and older or who are not suitable for intensive induction chemotherapy due to comorbidities. Venetoclax is often used in combination with other drugs such as azacitidine to provide better treatment results.
