How effective is febuxostat in treating gout? A multicenter, double-blind, randomized phase II clinical study evaluated the safety and efficacy of febuxostat (febuxostat, feburic) in gout. 2. Lactating women

Febuxostat (febuxostat, feburic) is excreted in rat milk. It is unknown whether febuxostat is excreted in human breast milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when administering this product to breastfeeding women.
