恩瑞格可以治疗哪些病症?
In 2010, it was launched in China. So, what diseases can Enrig treat?
Enrig is used for patients with iron accumulation due to long-term blood transfusion (such as thalassemia or other rare anemias). It is suitable for children over two years old and adults.
Indications of Enrig:
(1) Enrige can be used to treat reversible renal insufficiency caused by Fanconi syndrome.
(2) For the treatment of secondary hemochromatosis.
(3) Can be used to treat porphyria cutaneous tarda.
(4) For the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome.
(5) For the treatment of iron overload caused by blood transfusion in patients with chronic anemia 2 years and older during treatment.
Precautions when using Enrig:
1. Do not use this product if you are allergic or sensitive to any ingredient in Enrige.
2. In the first month of treatment; most reactions occur during the course of taking Enriga. Liver function should be checked regularly.
3. In some cases, patients who have fatal reactions after taking Enriga may develop renal failure. Patients with renal failure or who are at significant risk for renal failure should have periodic kidney function tests while taking Enriga. People at risk for kidney failure include the elderly, people with kidney disease, and people taking medications that affect kidney function.
4. Dose adjustment may be required: Enriga is associated with potentially severe reductions in white blood cell and platelet counts, especially in people with pre-existing blood abnormalities.
5. Enrig can cause hearing loss and eye disease only in rare cases. A comprehensive hearing and eye examination should be performed before starting use of Enrig and, thereafter, yearly.
6. People taking Enriga have experienced gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers, including some children and adolescents. There is an increased risk when using Enreg with blood thinners or other drugs that irritate the gastrointestinal tract, such as corticosteroids and bisphosphonates.
7. Use may cause skin rash. If the condition is severe, the medication may need to be stopped temporarily and then restarted at a lower dose.
